LM34 and LM35 Selection Guide

Yesterday, I was going through my ex-semester text book, I came across few interesting selection criterion for temperature sensor. In fact these are some important points that will really help you guys a lot while making your mini projects. Probably the ADC selection is somehow also based on these facts. LM34 and LM35 series are widely used linear temperature sensor from National Semiconductor Corporation. Lets discuss these :-

LM34A
  • Temperature Range:  -50F to +300F
  • Accuracy: +2.0 F
  • Output: 10 mV/F
LM34
  • Temperature Range:  -50F to +300F
  • Accuracy: +3.0 F
  • Output: 10 mV/F
LM34CA
  • Temperature Range: -40F to +230F
  • Accuracy: +2.0 F
  • Output:  10 mV/F
LM34C
  • Temperature Range:  -40F to +230F
  • Accuracy: +3.0 F
